Shoaib Malik, the Pakistani cricketer, has recently entered into his third marriage with Pakistani actor Sana Javed. The news comes amid speculation regarding his potential divorce from Indian tennis legend Sania Mirza. Malik announced the marriage on social media, sharing pictures from the wedding along with a caption expressing gratitude. Prior to Sania Mirza, Malik was married to Ayesha Siddiqui.
Rumors about Malik’s romantic involvement with Sana Javed had been circulating, especially after he posted birthday wishes for her on social media last year. The speculation intensified when he shared a photograph with Javed, captioning it, “Happy Birthday Buddy.”
Notably, Malik has previously defended Sana Javed against criticism she faced for her alleged behavior towards juniors and make-up artists on a drama set. Malik attested to Javed’s kindness, stating that he had known her for some time and had worked with her multiple times.
This marks Sana Javed’s second marriage, as she was previously married to singer Umair Jaswal. Speculation arose in late November 2023 suggesting that she and Jaswal might have separated, as reported by Pakistani media.
Sania Mirza has been Malik’s wife since 2010. They have a son named Izhaan.
