Madonna thinks compromise is a good thing

MadonnaAccording to Madonna, compromise is key for the success of any relationship.  The world renowned music star has herself wedded twice, and she is currently dating Bahim Zaibat- a 24 year old dancer. She is always ready to change partners whenever the need arises and she knows that this is very important.

She thinks people in relationships must always be prepared to give up something, saying it is quite a juggling act and at the end of the day it is all about compromising. She equally revealed that her past relationships and marriages have taught her a lot, especially from former spouses Sean Penn and Guy Ritchie. They apparently helped her learn a number of important lessons especially when it came to filming. And talking of filming, the singer played a huge role in the new movie ‘W.E.’ which she is said to have written, produced and directed.

In an interview conducted by Grazia magazine, Madonna explained how she learned so much from the former partners. She said that she always watched closely to see what they did. Overall she learned from Sean as a director and actor and from Guy as a director. From Sean, she understood the importance of preparing before proceeding to the set. While from Guy she got the good virtues of visual directing, observing that he takes several risks especially when it comes to camera moves and related activities. She learnt from Guy that sometimes breaking the rules is the way to go.

Just recently, Madonna won the “Best Original Song” Golden Globe for a masterpiece she co-wrote and sang in her “W.E.” film. Her win did not impress some people like David Furnish, the husband of Elton John. An ‘irritated’ Furnish commented that Madonna’s win was a true testimony that some of these awards really “have nothing to do with merit”.
